LAPIEL Laser Center Beginnings
LAPIEL Laser Center is a family owned and operated boutique laser hair removal center located in Chicago, Illinois. At LAPIEL we understand that clients often feel uncomfortable with expressing their needs, and therefore we strive to create an environment that is both warm and confidential. All treatments are performed by an experienced female nurse practioner with over 15 years of experience. We use only state-of-the art laser technology approved by the FDA for safe and effective hair removal. Our board certified nurse will make every effort to ensure your experience at LAPIEL Laser Center is a pleasant one.
Catalina Ruiz R.N., M.S., NP-C. Founder and Clinical Director
Catalina is the founder and clinical director of LAPIEL Laser Center. She works in collaboration with medical director, Gonzalo Ruiz M.D., a internist with over 40 years of experience practicing medicine. Together they work as a team to provide the latest safe and effective laser hair removal and BOTOX treatments.
Catalina is one of twelve siblings born and raised in Chicago. With six sisters she has certainly witnessed the many frightening experiences of waxing and fighting over disposable razors! Catalina’s mission is clear- to provide a gentler, healthier hair removal solution for people with all too common hair removal needs. Catalina’s concentration and expertise in laser hair removal has given her the opportunity to treat hundreds of clients since 2003. Making her clients feel at ease is and always will be a priority. After all, as Catalina puts it, “Feeling Good Matters.”
Gonzalo Ruiz M.D. Medical Director
Gonzalo is the founder of International Medical Associates providing healthcare to Lakeview residents for over 35 years. He specializes in Internal Medicine and Hematology.
