A Bit Of History About Lapiel Laser Center

LAPIEL Laser is a boutique laser hair removal center located within a professional office building. Its loft-style setting creates a feeling of space and warmth. At LAPIEL we understand that clients often feel uncomfortable with expressing their hair removal needs. Therefore, it is our priority to provide a confidential and comfortable setting for each client. It is also our goal to provide our clients with a safe and a permanent solution to their hair problems. All treatments are performed by an experienced female nurse practitioner in a warm and friendly environment. We use only state-of-the-art laser technology that has been approved by the FDA to be safe and effective in removing hair – GentleLaseTM and LightsheerTM.  Our Board Certified Nurse Practitioner will make every effort to make your experience a pleasant one.

Catalina Ruiz is the founder and clinical director of LAPIEL Laser center. She works in collaboration with the medical director, Gonzalo Ruiz MD, who has over thirty years of clinical experience in internal medicine. Together, they work as a team to provide safe and effective laser treatment programs.

Catalina is one of twelve siblings and growing up with six sisters means she has lived through – and witnessed – the many frightening experiences of waxing and fighting over disposable razors. Because of these experiences, it has lead her down a medical path of providing a gentler, healthier hair removal solution for people with all-too-common cumbersome hair removal needs. With fourteen years of nursing experience and six years as a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner, her concentration and expertise in laser and light source hair removal has given her the opportunity to treat hundreds of clients since 2003. Making a difference in her client’s lives is – and has always been – a priority. Possessing this positive outlook has helped her maintain the success of LAPIEL Laser Center and has consistently given her clients the comfort levels they need to live their lives without hair or skin worry.  After all – as Catalina puts it, “Feeling good matters.”
